Working on a secret late night pie run for this year, secret you asked y? Because if I don't keep it secret you all beat me to the party :yikes: and all I get is pie crumbs..... And I so do like pie!!!! Last year was a blast, and was one of my favorite parts of the fest.
What happens is we find..... I mean I find, if I tell anyone then everyone knows:lecturef_smilie: a small little mom and pop shop, and get them to open up late at night.... past 10pm, really late!! and sever homemade pies and ice cream and coffee, for spyder Ryder's only.
So big question time....... SO WHO'S GOING WITH ME THIS YEAR????

I remember last years secret pie run with that "Mile High Meringue" on the lemon pie. I still dream about it. I have a confession though....somehow we made reservations for the table we sat at for the " secret" pie run:dontknow::roflblack::yes:...what a great time we had!! Save room for us Len, in case we don't get reservations this year at your secret location.:thumbup::2thumbs: Can't wait for all the fun at Spyderfest 2013!!:cheers:

My philosophy... Eat desert first! That way if you get full, you've already had the most important part of the meal!

Sounds like someone dropped the ball on the 'Secret' part of the ride. I think Len is working harder this year to fix that glitch. On the other hand, bribery is always an option!

I always thought if you had to be stranded on an island, with only one food, it should be pie! Pie is the perfect food. Forget about the main course.

That being said, I sadly have to pass. Pie is definitely not on the diabetic diet, and secret pie runs are way past this old man's bedtime. Enjoy a piece of apple, cherry, lemon meringue, banana, pumpkin, key lime, rhubarb, or any of a dozen others for me.
