• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pitbull Motorcycle Lift Hydraulic Jack Service

I own a manual jack version of this excellent lift, but this procedure will work for the air version as well.

Problem: Jack has gotten rather spongy when lifting a bike and won't go as high as it did when new. It also slowly goes down after you raise it. There are no signs of hydraulic fluid leaking.

Solution - To purge the air out of the jack:
  1. Manually raise the lift platform to disengage the jack from the upside-down "U" shaped neck that runs across the top of the jack ram.
  2. With the valve closed, manually grab the top of the ram and pull it up as far as it will go. You may need to unscrew the top of the ram some to give you a better grip.
  3. Push the ram back down and then when you feel resistance, open the valve until the ram is fully down. You'll hear a hiss as the air is pushed out.
  4. Close the valve (important).
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 six to eight times.
This procedure is much like bleeding your brakes. I don't know if this would work for other brands of motorcycle lifts or hydraulic jacks.
