• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My stock size rear tire is 335 x 25 x 20. TireRack usually has pretty good prices and right now it is $511 per tire, plus shipping. I appreciate your concern that I am overpaying and would like to know where you can buy them for a lot less.

i think that might be the zp runflat tire. what car are you putting it on?

Agree, the Yoko is a great tire. I have used one and installed a number of them on customers bikes. They have all been very pleased with the tire. Most of them balance with 1/2 oz or less weight. Very well made tire.

What size are you using when going to the Yoko S drive? I wasn't able to find the standard size when searching on either tirerack.com or discounttiresdirect.com Thanks.

205/55 - 15

I know the number says its a smaller size but those are nominal size numbers. The Yokos run large. Comparing actual dimensions, the tire is exactly the same diameter as a stock tire and less than 3/16 difference in tread width. Its a great fit.

This is the tire I am looking at for my next one...

Any thoughts from anyone?

Yes. Most if not all performance tyres are asymmetric and are designed to be mounted in pairs. I would expect that mounting a single one on the rear of a Spyder may bring it's own problems. Maybe two on the front would be OK but I would think very carefully about putting one on the rear. Just my opinion.

I think you're wise in avoiding asymmetric tires, but directional tires are a good choice.
