There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Eight years sounds pretty generous. I have not heard of that warranty company. Please keep us posted if you find out more.

Best does work in Florida the difference is you can't buy it in florida you can buy it elsewhere but it's honored all over the state

Pinnacle is plan of choice in Jacksonville
Jacksonville is down to a single CanAm dealer now. Used to be three. Jacksonville PowerSports vends the Pinnacle plan. My 2010 warranty expires the end of July, so I'll see them the day before expiration. I was quoted $1200 for five years. That's about 9-10 hours of work on a Spyder in these parts. So $1200 doesn't seem like a bad price. I'm guessing that your 8-year warranty is the 72-month Pinnacle policy that kicks in after your 24-month Spyder warranty expires. It's a new Spyder, correct? If you don't mind me asking, what'd you pay for 6 years of Pinnacle? Another after-market vendor is Zurich based in Kansas. A 72-month policy is $1167.

Wonder if there is anything after the BEST runs out...Pinnacle won't touch it...contacted them...even if under BEST now, they won't help (at least not if you have a 2008)

I live in Panama City, FL and just bought the 3 year Best warranty from Bryce at Berts Mega-Mall, a site sponsor. Before the purchase, I checked with my local dealer to see if it is accepted-it is. The warranty just can't be purchased in the State of Florida. For some reason, BEST (BRP) hasn't applied to the state to be able to sell the product in FL. Dale
