There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

thanks...I tried a local guy today who is great with old school striping but don't get much for your money....

Unless you are set on 'old-school' painted pin-stripes, some SpyderLovers have had good luck with tape. Granted, taping is not likely to be as intricate as painting can be.

And DoubleTrouble (a fellow GSR) has done a couple nice jobs with tape. You might PM him for some pics.

I was so disappointed with the meager results for the money of my old school pinstriper that I bought me some tape and chrome accent and had my own go at it and am quite pleased. See attached photos. I may buy some old school decals from Winner's Cycle and use a couple or three of those. My wife said she liked the tape: that it now "pops". Whatever that means....
