• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pin Program

Has anyone had problems getting their awards pin from BRP? I received my new owner's package shortly after my purchase, but I have submitted for my 5K pin multiple times and no response from BRP as to whether they received my submittal or why it might have been rejected. I assume I probably answered one of the questions incorrectly when I setup my owner account with them, but I have no idea what it would have been.

I have looked on the BRP web site to see if there was a contact email that I could use to check about it, but they simply ask you to contact a dealer for questions.

I know this is a small thing, but the pin would be nice to have.

The pins appear to be sent quarterly. If you applied before 3/31--the pin should arrive shortly. If you don't like the wait--Cat Specialties (a site sponser) has some beautiful mileage patches. That's what I use.

Thanks! That may be what the holdup is. I was jut going on the 4-8 weeks they sate on their site. I will check out the patches as well.

I submitted mine in October of LAST year and still do not have mine. I resubmitted sometime last month, maybe it got missed???

That sounds like my story. I submitted in January and then re-submitted in sometime in March, after about 9 weeks.

same here!

What's the deal, tried twice to get mine. Not sure why, but still haven't gotten one. Who really cares?

It took about 10 weeks to get my pin and I wondered if some of the delay was that the picture (of the mileage) should have been clearer. What I would like is a couple more spyder ryder pins. I have 3 jackets of varying weights and would like to not have to fuss with moving pins, just slip one on and go. I'm really not much into the patch but that may have to change.

Silly Questions... What New Owners Package? <EOM>

Guess what came in the mail?

I had a call last week from BRP. They were asking me what I like about the Spyder and other questions about things I would
change ect. At the end I did tell them that I hadn't gotten my pen after twice sending the info that they requested. Guess it worked
because it came today. Hope you guys get yours also.

About 6-8 weeks after my purchase I received a package from BRP that contained a Spyder patch, pin, thank you letter and about 20 credit card sized brochures to be passed out. It was a nice surprise as I did not expect it at all.

Don't hold your breath... I finally got the pins from the 2010 RT, and I have been waiting for the 2011 pins for several months now..

Well it did show up  . I think they are sending them out quarterly instead of the 4-8 weeks as the web site suggests.

Great News !! Next onto the 10,000 mile pin :doorag::yes::yes:. By the time my 5000 mile pin arrived I was well on my way to my 10,000 mile pin and I only have a few more clicks to go :thumbup:

I am not sure how I got the welcome package. Not sure if the paperwork the dealer submitted for the sale triggered it or me registering on the Can Am site did it. The mileage pins are a result of registering on the Can Am site and then applying for the pins as you achieve the goal. You have to submit, under your profile, a picture of your odomoter and one of you one the bike. Look for the "Pin Program" at the bottom of one of the Spyder pages.
