• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pin Program No longer requires proof

I applied in October when I first got Spyder. I got my pin in the mail today. So, it took two months to get the pin. I did not pay anything for it. My package came directly from BRP, it took so long I had no idea what it was when I opened it.

LOVE IT!!! Spyder made in Canada and USA, Fixed in diff places all over the world and the PIN comes from CHINA!!! WT???:gaah:

25K pin if you want one

Well, I never ordered a pin, and as others have said, I do not actually want one, but..... Yesterday in the mail I got a 25K pin.

I have a bit less than 10K on the bike, so I have a ways to go to make this correct. Perhaps I have someone else's pin?!

If you want a 25K pin (verification not needed/requested), PM me, and I will be happy to send it to you.

Happy Tuesday!

Bill

This is not the first time BRP has used Google Forms for the usage. I have done a few surveys and if I recall, I think the sign up for last years Owner's Event was a Google Form.

I checked the mail today and found a bubble wrap envelope from BRP with a 5K pin inside. It took about two months.

Bill,
Look upon it as an incentive to grab the bars, and hit the road more often!

Applied for my 5K pin in October. Yesterday (12/10/2013) I got a 25K pin in the mail. Maybe they were expecting me to be at 25K by the time I got it?

With many now posting about receiving pins--maybe all is not lost. I tend to get stuff by snail mail from the lower 48 about two weeks late most of the time.:popcorn::popcorn:

FINALLY

We just received our 5K Pin yesterday. We are already set to roll over 10K.:roflblack: Better late, than never.

I applied for my 5k pin about three months ago and I haven't heard a thing. They must be busy....

Sent from the corner of walk and don't walk....

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. Got my pin in today's mail. Only one small issue...they sent me a 25k pin, not a 5k pin. Come on people lets get it together!!

Pins

I received a package from BRP and it had a coupon for 20% off and it has a Spyder owner patch and a pin for free. The package says that I would have to send a picture of my odometer when I reach 5,000;25,000 and 100,000 to get a pin. Well since I just started with my 2013 LTD I have a way to go even for my 5,000 pin.

At least a couple of months!:roflblack:

So I received my pin today. Only one problem. It's a 25K Pin and I've only gone 5K. Guess I have alot of ryding to do next year!

That link is from the BRP Spyder website.

Do you guys not poke around on BRP's site?? Guess I have more time at my work than others. I mean isn't work the best time to do Spyder research???!!!!;);)
Hey Hawk,
My daughter and family are moving to Buford in January. I am planning on bringing my RT down there for a few weeks sometime in the future.
Let's get together and ride brother .

I gave it a shot. After all, it is directly from the BRP site, about the pins.

I only qualify for the 5K miles, currently, though I'm preparing to roll over 10K. I was just lazy!

I'll let people know if it works out, once I get the pin. I was not asked for payment by any means.
