Am I the only one who thinks that Hawk made the form and posted the link as a joke?

https://www.google.com/dmca.html click this, very suspicious, you been had $25.00 for a pin ????
That link is from the BRP Spyder website.

Do you guys not poke around on BRP's site?? Guess I have more time at my work than others. I mean isn't work the best time to do Spyder research???!!!!![]()
No, it was not created by me conspiracy theorists!! Lets break this down so your not clicking any links generated by me.
1. Google Can Am Spyder, the top link should be the ad by brp, if not find the link to the brp spyder website.
2. When that site comes up (its the new version of their website and the url is http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/), click Community.
3. Then under Pin Program click Find Out How.
4. That takes you to http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/community/pin-program.html, which I posted earlier.
5. In the text there is a website address listed (why they dont have it as a link is beyond me): To receive your pin, visit http://goo.gl/RO1xw7 to submit your name and address
6. You can't click that website address (again, beyond me), but you can copy and paste it. That is the original link that I posted.
I did not make it up. I do not work for the NSA, FBI, or a offshore hacking site. I am not sure why it asks for money, I didn't go through the process, as I am not near the 25,000 mark to get my next pin. They never charged before.
Anyway, I was only pointing out that there was no proof needed, and was thinking there would be some people with 100k pins with 18k on their bikes, :gaah:.
I'm always suspicious of sites asking for information and money. I did follow the link from the BRP after verifying it was a real link and completed the form. I did not get any request for payment, It didn't even ask for an email address or proof of Spyder ownership. Something is weird, but it didn't cost anything. Time will tell.
So it is a test site that they probably didn't intend to have anyone access?
Hmmm, wonder why the other guy got prompted for money?
Nope, I just think its the new version of the website. If your on Facebook, Can-Am Spyder links to that in their announcement of the 2014's.

That url leads to the new website.
I too think the pin program is a joke. After going thru the hassle for the 5000 mile pin with my RS, and just not to get the pin. Then trying again for my RT, but gave up with all the hassle it required. If this site is real I will wear the pin with pride, but if not I guess I will go out and buy a bridge :gaah:
By the way, just checked the BRP site, and the request a pin link has not changed.
Pin site update. I have not received any acknowledgement or requests for $25 for the pin information I submitted yesterday. Still waiting to see what happens. :bbq::bbq::bbq:
