• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The blue RT looks great! :2thumbs: Maybe I'll see it soon, I will be working at the South Windsor wastewater plant for a few days once it starts up. Maybe I'll send you a PM and we can meetup :chat:. How did you weather the storm? Plainville, CT south of Hartford got hit hard.

I live about 2 miles from the plant. We had nothing but a few stray sticks and a flicker on the lights. Are you staying nearby for a few days? I will PM you my contact info and we can meet up for dinner or at least stop by and kick my :spyder2: tires.

Welcome. We are new riders as well. We live in Michigan and love everybit of it. We went for a ride tonight and learned a lot about proper clothing. We had riding jackets on (without the lining) and were pretty cold. Rode about an hour and a half to get a burger. Stoped at a dollar general on the way back and bought a couple of heavy sweatshirts. Felt much warmer on the way home. Anyway, welcome and enjoy!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have been on a lot of forums and that is not always the case. Volusia Riders is my other hang out (as far as forums go) but I am finally done jumping around with bikes. Started with the Volusia/Boulevard C50T, then Nomad 1600, then Victory Vision 1800. I put 7000 miles on the Vision last summer with my wife riding for the first time. I thought she loved the Vision but does not miss it at all.

Again, thanks for the welcome...any RI, CT or MA riders?
