• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picking up my Spyderfest RS in Cuba on the 24th!!! And I can't wait!

After nearly 2 years of stalking this website, one year and 51 weeks after getting my MC endorsement and about 100 phone calls/emails with Len @ Cowtown (thanks for your patience Len :bowdown::bowdown:), I believe we have settled on all of the details of MY 2012 Spyderfest RS and I couldn't be more excited to be getting a byke from Len and his crew. Now the challenge is to enjoy the anticipation between now and the 24th without having my head pop off.

VERY much looking forward to meeting everyone (and my byke) at Spyderfest!!!!!!!!

The configuration should be pretty awesome, but I do reserve the right to want more farkles from vendors at Spyderfest!!

No pics yet as they just uncrated it. And I am thinking I might have him NOT send me pics as they are building it. You know, make it a bigger surprise. (Not sure I have that much strength and/or self restraint though)
 
You should have him take pics from uncrating it to a finished product...that would be cool to have. Good choice in buying it there.

I got my RS-S last night and rode today for 3 hrs. LOTS of fun !!!!!!!!!
 
Congrats, we did the same thing, last year, but with the RT-S

:yes: I know exactly how you feel, heck, we couldn't even wait that long & picked ours up a week earlier :joke: LOVE'N EVERY MINUTE OF IT :firstplace: Len & the crew at Cowtown are 2nd to none :firstplace:
 
Am I missing something ??? There is a Spyderfest RS-S being made ??? :yikes::yikes: How many are they making ???

Brian your bike is going to be a fun build, and yes this year for the first time, I get the chance to build the very very first spyderfest RS.
Brian it's going to be a super sharp bike, we are adding a few twists, and giving this thing an edge, rest assured I fully plan on your bike as being my very own pet project. I will be staying true to the RS, no major changes just giving it some spyderfest/Spyderlovers design.

Pics will come, but none complete only small pics of parts. The final pic Brian you will have to see with your own eyes. Thanks for the trust and faith bro. We're going to do this thing right.

We actually started with an RS because some of the things we (ahem, they) are doing will basically bring us up to the level of the RSS in terms of the performance of the bike. I have been thinking of it as an RS-SF of sorts. As far as quantity, I am only aware of the byke Len is putting together for me - not sure if has others planned.
