• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pickers and Pawn Stars

I will never give up my guns. I will go down fighting to the end. I will use what oil I choose to use. I wear a helmet because I am required to and even if I'm not I will. I drive a Ford van for work because that's what my company supplies. My wife drives an Impala SS. I have a 1500 Silverado. I live in a single family home which we own. We have mods on our RTS' and they don't void the warranty. I howl at the moon and grow fangs and hair when the moon is full. The wine I cook with is the wine I drink. Your turn...

Stir, stir, stir--I will stay out and just watch--I really like the two previous posts though!:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

I don't think I've ever met a more crooked pair of guys. Only thing positive I have to say is they do know their history.

If someone says its worth 1000 but I am only giving you 400 cuz I need to make money and I am taking a chance how are they crooked or liars.. No one is forced to sell at that price,, Maybe I am missing something but that seems like the kind of guy I want to do business with

Well if you want to stir up the hornets; all you needed to do was bring up helmet usage... or tire pressure... or favorite oil brand... or which bike is best... or what tires to use... or... :roflblack::roflblack:

Huh... That must be why I couldn't stir the hornets... I asked about helmet pressure, and tire usage..:opps:

I wear my helmet whenever I'm taking a shower... :lecturef_smilie: Most accidents occur in the home! :roflblack:
But I can't say what I wear while taking out the garbage... :opps:

I agree, If you don't like the offer pick up your merchandise and walk.
Now if they stick a gun to your head and say give me your merchandise,
Thems are Crooks.

No. They know history. They know what stuff is worth. When they don't and are real interested they consult ebay first, then an expert. They play off people's desperation to pay as little as possible. There is also plenty there that I'm sure were acquired by less than legal means. Think they care if they can get away with selling it?

Do you really think all the people that come into their shop are just walking around Vegas, With all that stuff.
The Producers have spotters checking out ads, ie EBay , Craigslist, ETC and if something look interesting for the show they pay that guy to come in with that item, Nobody loses and it's good entertainment.
I mean look were all talking about the show aren't we.?:roflblack:

And how exactly did the pawn shop operate before the tv show? People around town either wanted to sell off some stuff or got desperate for money. So. yeah. basically it is exactly what you said. people walking around town with stuff. With the advent of the tv show they simply now have a better chance of getting something rare, as people will be tempted to bring in better stuff for a chance to get on tv.
