There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Picked Up My New 2014 RT LTD!!!! And a couple question???

Picked it up yesterday afternoon around 2:00 PM. By 7:00 PM had 156 Miles on it. LOVE IT:yes::yes:

Got a couple questions. I noticed a vibration after about 70 MPH. Its seems to vibrate as you let off the throttle a little or if you stay a constant speed anywhere above 70. I feel the vibration mostly on my right foot. Is this the belt vibration I've been reading about and I need the belt tensioner. I know the belt is on the left side but I also know that vibrations harmonics can travel to strange places so you can't tell anything by where you feel it. Is this correct or is it something else?

And in my last post, Ann with Squared Away mentioned that with the silver satin that I have, there has been some mention of products I need to be careful of using on it. Can someone tell me what that is?

I also noticed that it has a slight pull to the right. So I most likely need to get with Ann and set up an appointment to have a Laser Alignment done.

Thanks for all the welcomes and greetings. Looking forward to getting to know everyone a lot better.

When my RT S slightly pulled to the right, dealer installed new front tires under warranty.

They diagnosed by switching left tire to right side and right tire to left side and it pulled to the left.

I had their loaner for 10 days while they figured it out. Put 800 miles on their loaner. :D

:welcome: and :congrats: on the new ride. I believe the information about what to use on the satin finish is talked about in the owners manual. Don't have the manual handy here at the desk, so can't give the exact page #.

All I do with my Silver Satin is just wash it after a long trip. I don't use anything else on the finish and it's standing up fine. Depending on where you live and the road conditions, the crown in the road may cause a slight pull to the right. Congrats on the new purchase and enjoy.

Congrats on the new RT

Eh, awesome buy right there. Way to go!!

Try Ryding on a very smooth flat new Chunk of Roadway...
I feel a very slight Lean at times but what if you move to the other side of your lane?

What is the Silver Satin on your 14RT LTD?

I bought a 14RTS-SE6 in Cognac end on July 31,2014, you will really like the 14's, they are awesome machine. Deanna777:ohyea:

Clean the silver satin

I use Harley Davidson sun wash bike soap & denim paint cleaner & it works good on The chrome to

Regarding the vibration, it's most likely the belt, mines noticeable around 70-75mph.
SmoothSpyder will get rid of that. Hoping Santa brings me one this year! :roflblack:

:congrats: on your new ride!

Welcome..!! Welcome..!!

congrats on the new ryde..:2thumbs: vibration will probably be the belt but get more miles on it then check tension. Tensioner will help with that. As for the paint don't use any product that leaves waxy residue or polishes. Some advertise for flat finishes or use protectall or plexus....
