• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:congrats: I couldn,t pass up the sweet deal on the New 2012 RT sm5 and really like the Manual shift and Today when I jumped back on my GS it felt like a Rocket!!! Life is Indeed Good!!!
 
:congrats: and I hope the snow holds off for a while so you can put some miles on it. When I went to SITA in 2010 I was awed by the beauty of your part of the country but each time I found myself thinking that it would be fun to live there I would come upon another sign that read "Caution Snow Plow Turn Around" and I would quickly put that idea out of my head.

LOL. There are lots of snow plow turn arounds throughout the Adirondacks. Whiteface has already had snow. :) The reason for the plow turnarounds is that each county or village or township plows their section of road. When they're done, they turn around.
 
That one was actually taken in a parking area right next to the Neversink Reservoir pretty darn near to my backyard...

That reservoir is part of NYC's water supply system.

Hey Mik, reading your posts...I think my wife and I met you and your wife once!! When WE picked up our second RT at Roberts in the summer, I think it was you and your wife who came in and wanted to check out Spyders that day in Saranac! We bought a blue A/C RT in July and picked up the Magnesium the day you came to Roberts. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I'm right on! CONGRATS on the Spyders...we're twins now...same colors, too. I bought fog lights and all the RTS chrome on ebay/cycle giant and installed it all on both bikes...now our A/C RT's look like RTSs!!:yes:

...and the best thing is...we live in New Russia, NY (Elizabethtown)...we will be doing some Rydes together(hopefully this fall..if not, then in the spring!), don't you think?????

I've never seen my twin but I know from his posts he is handsome, intelligent and has a great sense of humor.:roflblack::roflblack: Hopefully we will be able to ride together soon. You aren't like Danny Devito are you Bob? :yikes::roflblack:
 
:clap:Congrats on the new Spyder. We might run into you some day, We come up from CT every weekend to our camp and ride in the Adirondacks. We always see at least a few Spyders each trip. If you see a Silver RT in the middle of a few Harley's it could be me...lol

That would be great, my Harley has tears in its mufflers sitting next to my Spyder.
