Picked up 1352 (Silver)...

Flew to Pensacola yesterday and made it home (Austin, TX) today. 732 miles...thunderstorms and high cross winds kicked my butt. Overall I was very impressed with the stability and performance of the bike. Only hit 90 mph a couple of times and the engine felt very strong. I was most impressed with the bike's stability in very heavy crosswinds. I also managed to travel about 100 miles in severe thunderstorms and felt secure and safe on the rain soaked highway with gusty winds. Fuel economy seemed good but I didn't compute the mileage as I was too lazy. Seating and ergonomics are comfortable for me but definitely not a long distance touring machine...(guess I'm spoiled by my Goldwing). I'm looking forward to running around the Hill Country of central Texas.

Congrats again on your choice, although the Yellow one is faster :.

I too ride a Yellow (faster) 2001 wing and should find the change challenging. Keep us posted on your impressions. As a wing owner too, I am curious on how you react.
