• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pick up my new Spyder RTL tomorrow

After driving from Florida to Ontario Canada via Georgia where I purchased a trailer to haul the Spyder, I am all set up to pick up the Spyder and high tail it back to Florida. There was some delay because Can Am supplied the wrong communications cable for the CB. Should be on the road Saturday making sure to give Buffalo a wide berth. Looking forward to riding for the winter in the warm Florida sunshine!

Have a safe trip back to good old Fla.....and enjoy the heck out of your new :spyder2:..and ryde the heck out of it....you will be able to ryde it year around:nopic:..:2thumbs:.

Enjoy your new ride, also have safe trip back to Florida.
Temp should be 34 F in the AM, so I will be riding to work for the first time this week.

Made it Sidney Ohio

First day after picking up Spyder at the dealership. What a beauty....a little dirty by day's end. Nothing a bucket of water won't fix.

must have been one heck of deal to drive that far. looks like a great machine and lots of fun

well I had bought it at home(Ontario) and planned to wait until spring but when I got to Florida I got the gears from my other biker buddies so I said what the heck it is only time and being retired I have plenty of that so I decided to go home and rescue the bike early. I didn't take it at first because I hauled a 5th wheel down and didn't want to double tow...

Second night...just south of Atlanta

In the tornado watch area. Poured rain all day. Everything is fine with the bike and trailer. The new Scorpio alarm is flaky but that could be user error or weather.

Home in Florida tomorrow then I get my first ride!

cheers

Kevin
