• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pick Me!

Went to a bike night at local Cycle Gear last night and they had a drawing for a new helmet. My husband wrote Pick Me on the back of his entry and they did pick him! He has a really nice Shoei so he let me get a new helmet. Wasn't that nice? We've been very lucky lately I won two really nice prizes at Spyderfest and now this I'm thinking that we need to put a few bucks in the slot machines and see how we do.

:agree: I'd grab some lottery tickets while your MOJO is still strong!!

You can gamble on just about anything in Vegas but not on the lottery. That's why I think we need to pull the lever on the slots a few times.

PS Wore my new helmet today and I can't get over how much quieter a full face is than a modular. It is a little claustrophobic but I think I can get over that. It has a lot of vents and was cool and comfortable on our short ride today. Tomorrow we are going to Utah so that should be a good test.

:yes::clap: What fun and what a nice guy you have there!!! You are going to look so snazzy in all your new riding gear I won't recognize you. If there are any drawings in Durango I'm going to put your name on it too...maybe some of that luck will rub off on me!!!

Maybe you'll win the trip to Europe!

Congrats on the new helmet. Isn't it neat how much quiter a helmet is without that hinge located right near your ear? The claustrophobia is something I felt at first, too, but it will go away as you get used to the helmet and realize it comes off easily.

Enjoy the trip to Utah. Hope to get out to see that part of our country some day.

Do not, repeat, do not put your money in a slot machine. If you win, you could become addicted. I got very lucky when I first moved to Vegas in 94. Won a ton of money and decided to keep it. Every year on my birthday a get my check and I haven"t gambled since then. I have heard horror stories about those that won and chased more until there was nothing left including home, car and family. But if you do good luck. Just quit if you win.
