• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We just got in from the BRP hosted dinner at Sleeping Beauty Ranch, nice event. As no one had started a photo thread here on the whole event, figured I would. Here are a few shots of the great time we are having in the Durango area.

And at home the Spyders share the garage with my GT and Louise Escape in the same color blue. Yeah, we like blue.

I think I saw you there Thursday morning. I didn't hang around long as we had some other stuff to do before hitting the road again this morning. We did see a couple groups of Spyders heading up to Silverton today, nice ride but I pitied anyone who didn't have a jacket.

Yep, it can get chilly at 10,000 ft. Even in June. Snow is gone in these parts but up in Crested Butte we ran into snow at the higher elevations on Tues. Great riding roads in these parts. We are headed out for one more day of fun and hitting the road home on Sunday. Really don't want to leave.

Hi...Can you tell me what kind of trailer you have and how long it is?

Its an 18foot Sloan Kwikload trailer. Full roll back deck. Easiest loading trailer I have ever used.

The one I have has a few options to make it more usable for my GT and the Spyders. Full length rub rails along the sides make tie downs much easier.

I'm in the market for one to haul our two RTs. I watched their (Sloan) video and was pretty impressed. You might know this off the top of your head---- My vehicle has a 5,000lb towing limit with an electric brake trailer. Off the top of your head, can I make that work with this trailer? I am really thinking of an aluminum trailer.....

The all steel Kwikload is just over 2000 lbs empty. If you got the aluminum options (AL deck, fenders and wheels) it brings the weight down to 1350 empty. The RTs are just over 1000 each so you could do it either way and be within your towing limits, if you go with the aluminum options, you could haul most cars and still be within your limits. I had the same 5k limit on our motor home. The lighter trailer is MUCH easier to maneuver by hand with a dolly when unloaded and not connected to the truck too.

For loading the Spyders, you will not need the winch options but it sure makes single person loading of a car easy. The front fairing keeps the bikes or car much cleaner when towing and I already mentioned the full length rub rails for tie downs. Standard is 4 D-rings. They also offer e-clip tracks that would not work for my GT that has to use wheel baskets. The four wheel brakes upgrade really helps too.

Let me know if you need any other info. They are nice folks to work with on a custom build. The standard trailer is available from a number of dealers but if you want the options and any color other than black with black steel (HOT) deck, its a factory order. About 2-3 weeks to build when I ordered mine.

Thanks SO much! Great information to have at hand when they call me back. And they are not that far from me so I may just run up to their shop and look first hand at options.
