Phone mount recommendations

Installed the Lamonster top cuff and the phone phang. I previously ran a USB double port directly from the battery for charging, as I use the phone for music on trips.

I used the Lamonster ram mount on the center with a wireless charging capable mount from Amazon. The charging and the fact that the mount grips the phone by the 4 corners leaving the buttons accessible was the only reason I didn’t go with the tach form mount from motorcycle Dave..

Not sure what year you RT is but on a newer one I use this $20 mount. I have tried a few and I like this one. One of the issues with some of the others is that they cover or hit the buttons on the side of the iPhone. I can have my phone attached and locked in in seconds with this.

I have tried the 1. X mount, 2. Track form and 3. The new Quad mount. My favorite to date is the Quad mount.

2+ for the quad mount. check it out prior to purchasing the track mount. Not trying to discourage business from a forum sponsor but take a look at the quad mount system prior to making your purchase decision.

What about vibration damage to camera from using top cuff or trackform?
I see Quad Lock addresses that.

I purchased the Quadlock from the company last week and installed it on my right handlebar next to the controls. It works great and holds like a rock and comes off easy with the push handle.

My personal preference is in the pocket of my riding jacket. When I need it, I stop and use it; then it goes back in the pocket. Much less distracting and much much safer-IMHO.

Mounting to the handlebars is not good for electronics. Surprisingly they vibrate enough to do damage.

I stopped by BajaRon's shop a while back, and they set me up with a Lamonsters handlebar cuff with Ram ball, and the phone holder. Works good with my S24.
