• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Phoenix to Dallas

I'm heading to Dallas early in the morning tomorrow (Hopefully 4:00). I'll be scooting along the 10 across a piece of New Mexico, and then into Texas. Then, onto the 20 toward Dallas. My first stop is Midland, TX 700 miles from home. I plan to be in Dallas Saturday noon to meet my two sons for lunch. (another 300 miles)

So if you see a red and black Spyder RT scooting along the interstate, give me a wave. This is a 2,000 mile trek on the Spyder.

Safe travels

Safe traveling and good weather. You may wish you had that vented windshield for the trip. My Son lives in Mariana Az. I be making the 2,000 ( round trip) mile soon enough,

Enjoy your ride and be SAFE. Last time I crossed there was 20 years ago on my Goldwing. I was headed for Georgia to visit my folks and took a lot of back roads across Texas to see some back country and stop at every historical marker. 0400 would be an excellent time to get out of Phoenix.

Good to hear..!!

have a great trip, be safe it's a great route been all around there myself...would have been much better on the spyder but they didn't make them back then...:roflblack: pictures would be nice like when you cross state lines...:2thumbs:

I made it to Midland. 12 hours 687 miles. The only reason it took so long is I took lots of breaks. The Spyder performed brilliantly!

360 miles to go!

I love the 80 MPH speed limits in Texas. I can set the cruise at 85 with no worries.
