• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Phoenix PIMS

:clap:Spent the morning at the International Motorcycle Show in Phoenix. Got to get up close and personal with a new RSLimited. Even got the wife to sit on it, but it is right now out of our price range. My 2011 RS-S will have to do for now (I just bought it in November).

Also looked at all the 2 wheelers. Found the Christian Riders group and Ride fir Kids booths and got information. All-in-all a pretty productive morning.

Crowd was pretty large. Lots of bikes and quite a few Spyders in the parking area.

 But... That's MONTHS away!!

I know...
Thanks goodness that we've got the SuperBowl next weekend...
and then, NASCAR starts getting busy!!

Wife and I were there as well. Noticed a whole lot of interest in the Spyders, to bad about no test drives. They had a test drive event at Arizona bike week last year, perhaps again this year

Wife and I were there yesterday also. They had some neat stuff but was disappointed in the amount of demo rides and the pain to go through them. Really wanted to ride one of the new Indian's, they only brought 5 bike to demo. The line was was to long. Kawasaki brought only crotch rockets. Victory seemed to have the best organized test rides and had plenty of bikes to ride so had a very little line.

I wished BRP would of had demo's there, sure would of liked to try a 2014 RT and compare it to our 11 RT. I also noticed that BRP is using the flat colors for an option in 2014 also. Similar to what the Victory colors were last year.

All and all pretty good show.

Did they have any of "Indian Larry's bikes there? His shop was well-represented at the NYC show...
...As was Perewicz's shop! (Butchered the spelling! :opps:)

Nope, had very few custom bikes as well. They did have some old retro bikes there. Similar to my first dirt bike I owned, Honda Elisinore MR50. Still looking for one to restore and keep in the garage.

Demo

Attended show on Sat. and was disappointed there was no demo or cut-away of 2014 RT. Was told of demo days at Firebird in April. Should be just before Spyderfest and hoping Pit bull wouldn't be wanting to deal on a 2012 RT!!!!!!! LOL!

Ohh maybe then I can get a ride on a 2014?
