• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey Spyder Dudes & Dudettes...Help!! Wife & I are outfitting two new "Spydies" for some long distance travel. It is a must that we take our companion doggie along. Does anyone out there know of a Nice looking functional pet transporter.. Custom built or otherwise that works well on a Spyder and adds to, not diminishes the sleek lines of the Machine??? Help Please? Len.... Jornie1

A trailer for your pet is a good way to go. Depends on what kind of dog we are talking about though. :dontknow:

Good grief..talk about insufficient information..Sorry Gang.. Our little girl is a Welch Corgi.. 23lbs max. I prefer something very nice and sleek mounted where the rear seat would otherwise be. Don't want to pull a trailor if it can be avoided since we will always be traveling with two machines and lots of storage. The plan..only one will have a rear seat the other..a nice doggie carrier.. Now.. Help again..Please... Len

Those look nice and I think they would work really well on one of the Kewlmetal rear racks. The ones I've seen in pictures and in person were soft sided pet carriers that had nylon straps on the bottom that the rider fastened either under the seat, to the passenger grab bars, or both. The one I saw in person was on SpyderRyder810's Spyder. Maybe she will notice this post and can give her thoughts and details of her setup.

We meet a lady(she is on here) that took off the lid on one side of her Corbin Bags and lets her dog ride in there with goggles on. Loved it! Also saw a lady carrying her dog in a backpack with dog watching out behind her on her Spyder too; all at the spring MB bikeweek!

We are currently using a "T-Bags" carrier for our 11 pound pooch. Our particular carrier will hold a pet up to 15 pounds. The bag is made of a canvas-like material...very sturdy with an internal framework. Each side unzips and the sides can fold under to reveal a screen mesh for ventilation. About a 4x4 section of the top can be unzipped to reveal the screen mesh and you can also unzip this screen mesh to allow the dog to stick its head out. There are two leads with clasps on the inside that can be used to secure the animal. The floor of the case is padded to some extent, but we added an additional 1/2 inch of foam to keep our 16 year old pooch comfy. We are on vacation right now and have traveled over 2,000 miles with our pooch well secured inside. He particularly likes to lay down and enjoy not only the airflow but the scenery and smells as we travel. The only problem of tying the bag down to the passenger seat area was that we had to untie it to allow the seat to raise for refueling. So my wonderfull and mechanically inclined husband made an elevated platform, using PVC pipe covered with thin chrome plated - diamond plate. This platform rests on the passenger handholds so that I can raise the seat for refueling without having to untie the pet carrier. While we are not adept at posting pictures, we will attempt to do so in the next day or so. Keep your fingers crossed! Also, you can go on their website and check to see how big they make these cases. We just googled
T-Bags Pet Carriers. While I don't remember their exact web site you might want to try www.tbags.com. Good Luck...Joan
