I am good friends with an a person who owns a Premier Edition GS. Curious. How many other PE's are still out there. Not sure how many were made but she claims at the Durango Owners Event there was only one other in attendance. Speak up!

Mine is number 3290 , not sure many were made after . Would be interesting to know . I have seen posts stating there was only supposed to be 1500 or something?

RE: PE's There were supposed to be 1500 of the GS made. There are numbers quoted out there in the three thousands. Not a smooth move on BRP's part. Extra Value--none--except for Jay Leno's #1.


RT: PE's. They were supposed to make 1500 of them. I had #474. The special color was black. Shown in my signature picture on the far left. Since then, black has been relegated to the low end models--in most cases. I saw no extra value at trade in time.


Time will tell if the 10th anniversary editions do any better. These are supposed to be built as ordered.

That inspires a question: would an owner be more inclined to keep a PE despite the condition thinking that some day it may be a collectors item? Someday.

Why would condition factor in on keeping a PE? Some have over 100k on them and still going strong. Or is it a garage queen?

How many people who have a GS PE are the original owner? Know some people who traded up. Know some who kept them because they're a good ride.

So many factors to the question ...

Good question. I am guessing not. However, they will be tracking serial numbers--I am guessing. Should be able to figure something out from that. :yes:

I would guess that the PE's anythings are not going to be worth any more in the future. The mistake BRP made there--IMO--is making more than two or three hundred. In 08 they made around 10,000 total Spyders. Over 1/3 were marketed as PE's.

The blue book said 2010's were worth an extra $500. I did not see or get that here--and they treated me right. When I traded in the 2010 for the 2014 I was on Spyder number 5.

I found out this AM that all other dealers (non BRP) are offering as little as $5K on any Spyder trade-in. I am talking Anchorage AK area on this. :yes:
