There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Retired plates: TILSNO, SPYDR1, SPYDR2
I am letting my last two personal plates (car/Spyder) run their course and then will go to regular plates because of the cost and the hassle of getting special plates. They would not let me transfer my TILSNO from my vulcan to the new 2011 RT. They had an idiot person working the counter at motor vehicle registration who did not understand the proceedure. I did not want to make a return trip or go to a different dmv office--so I let it go. The state lost out on another fee--but that is their problem. It was fun while it lasted, but "I don't need no stinking personal plates".

My Michigan plate was Y Y Y but now I just have numbers. Plates are super expensive in Nevada and I couldn't see paying the extra for personalized.
