• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Performance upgrades

I have an F3 and would like to know what small things I can do to improve performance. Things like spark plugs, air filters, and ECU units. Many sport bike guys use Power commander, but I don't know if it is helps with the 1330.

I've been wondering the same. I installed a Power Commander on my Victory, along with an adjustable timing wheel and got it to go like a scalded cat. I've been told by Spyder techs that there is no way to install a Power Commander or do anything else to beef up the torque or horsepower.

I'm actually pretty happy with the performance of my :spyder2: (Aside from the crappy fuel mileage). But I do like to tweak things :doorag:

I'll sit back and see what the others say :chat:

In the mean time...

:agree: you do have pipes , check with bajaRon on the air filters or direct with K&N the fuel controlers come into play more when you modify the pipes and cleaner but the computer does a good job adjusting for the changes. Again check with bajaron on the plugs and wires and keep an eye out here for stuff coming soon...

I don't think that E3 makes a plug for us...
But I put one of them into my "686ed" Grizzly, and it made a .3 second difference in the 10 mph to 40 mph roll-on performance. nojoke

I believe someone is working on a power commander or similar thing right now for the F3. Bajaron has the K&N air filters and swaybars, Lamont has the cat delete pipe, not sure on the muffler.
