• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust system

Two Brothers is offering all exhaust systems for the Spyder except the single Carbon Fiber exhaust. They keep cracking and overheating. One even caught fire. So until they get the kinks out of the single carbon fiber system, it is on hold. I know, have been waiting for 3 months for mine. If only I didn't like the way it sounds so much....

The're both in the 2009 catalog for Spyder.

I have the 2009 catalog and I didnt see the juice box. did you mean the BRP catalog or is there a two brothers catalog the I need to find?

Ok I answered part of my own question and when searching on the two brothers website. there was nothing there about the juice box for the spyder did you call them and ask if this is going to be made for the spyder?

Common for most brands when they try to apply their C/F exhaust to V-twins.
If I remember right, Akropovich and Leo Vince(also made by Akropovich) have the best record for C/F V-twin Mufflers.

They will ship the Juice Box at the end of the next week.

Update...

Contacted 2 Brothers today and was told that they have stopped selling and producing their single carbon fiber and titanium exhausts for the Spyder. They are getting too hot and causing to many issues. Guess they can't handle the V-Twin power. The duals are still being offered though. Now I have to decide what to buy. Loved the sound of the 2 Brothers, so no idea now. :banghead:

2 Bros has had issues on sport v-twins with dual exhaust since 1998...wonder how they thought they could get around it with a single exhaust, especially Carbon Fiber...Many single exhaust cans sold for sport v-twins say they are for 600cc and under.

Looking forward for the Juice Box. However, I'm happy for now with the Hindle (except the 2 rivets that I replaced and the lost badge).

It's hard to believe that 2 rivets had to be replaced.

Anyone else has had this problem? For a $600+ pipe, that really surprises me!

Not a big suprise...V-twins are hard on cans...I deal with rivets on aircraft all the time...they go bad all the time. These are just simple pop rivets, used on most if not all exhaust. In many cases, they don't have a back-up washer on the action end of the rivet and a bad pull occurs. The ball sometimes starts to pull through or actually pulls through the material...just a few run cycles away from breaking out. Easier to replace then an exhaust sleeve...although you can fab up a beauty ring to hide metallic sleeve cracks, most of the carbon fiber sleeves don't repair well if at all...they usually continue to crack out of the repair if they didn't burst in the first place.

So far my polished 2 brothers can looks brand new. I flat out love the sound! I do ride with a group that has pretty loud bikes.
If you ride with a bunch of BMW riders or other anal retentive types - this is not the exhaust for you! Sorry for the steriotype - but I have seen alot of evidence..

Hey, we're not anal retentive, just quiet and shy. Besides, when we get where we are going, we can actually hear. LOL
