• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

people from PA would you submit to this

To me, that is very scarry. May seem a harmless request to some--but a lot can be done with a sample such as that. Nuff said here.

EDIT: I have nothing to hide either.

If they want a DNA sample; I'll pee on the side of their car... :roflblack:
Seriously; if you've got nothing to hide... :dontknow:

People need to understand they have every right to look at the person asking for the DNA sample and say: "No!" unless they can produce a warrant demanding that you submit. "They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." ~ Benjamin Franklin

Both of us take prescription drugs. It's no ones business but ours and our doctor why we do. If you want to pay me to participate in a program, I might consider it. I have no issue with DWI/seatbelt checkpoints, We have them all the time here. However, if you pull me over just to request a DNA sample, you better have a warrant.

i do believe

that the people were offered money for them doing the test, but some felt they were pressured to do it and i still wouldn't do it even for money. and i have nothing to hide, like the president said, I AM VERY TRANSPARENT

I wouldn't have pulled into the parking lot. If the researcher had tried to stop me, then there may have been a need for flashing lights, from an ambulance! Do not submit, ever!

I would not give in.
The nothing to hide does not mean over zealous DA will not use something you have legally to try and hang you. A CCW carrier was stopped in a traffic stop, not carrying and was asked to let the police search his car. He let them. Several months later, he was in a scuffle, not carrying, he said, I said, type of deal. Went to courtDA brought up, this person was stopped by the police a couple months ago and found to have several hundreds of ammo in his vehicle. No other explanation. Does this look good for the person, even though he had just bought the ammo legally and was taking it home. I have no idea how the case turned.
Reasonable things can be used in unreasonable ways. The beer/wine you were taking home, unopened "proof" you are a drunk. The perscriction pills in your pillbox are "proof" you are a adict.
Lots of very good Police, but a few very rotten ones. No comment that I can say on the feds in this one
