• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Toni, was that you I honked at a couple miles from my farm on US-90? Red Spyder being chase by two wheels.

Had too much to carry on Iktome so had the red Forester.

Any and all area Spyders, there is a Starbucks at the corner of Alt-90 and Pine Forest. North and a bit west from there will take us up along the river and eventually to Atmore AL. I guess the new Resort is at the same location as the old Bingo Parlor along the interstate?

I had mentioned taking that route up in daylight and back to intersect 29 at the CITGO about half way down so we would be on multilane after dark. If we could meet at 1:30 at Starbucks Sunday we would be at the resort by about three or so. Any other ideas?

Penacola & Baja Alabama

It probably was me I didnt hear a honking horn though. Course with the wind & noise probably couldnt hear it anyhow. Was here a Kawa Concours ahead of me? ( My husband) I was going (or returning ) from the tag office in Robertsdale getting my tag. Where do you live? We live in Seminole Landing.

Just a mile east of 87 is Greek Cemetary Rd>>>>

>>>>south to Whispering Pines South then back west and south to the very end of Strawberry LN. Top of the hill at the "Posted" sign with the "One shot" and range drawn on it. We split our time between there and the Pensacola house but should be fully moved in in a couple of weeks.

I thought the Spyder was in front, you were a couple miles east of our place just came off the hill and through the curve.

If the weather holds to their word we will probably make the run Sunday. Have my monthly labs that Monday so must be very careful of what I eat so the Doctor does not chew me out too much.

Coyote;

Do you still want to meet at the Starbucks as you posted at 1330? I am ready if you are. let me know and I will be there.

Of course we can keep an eye on things and make changes if needed when we meet. I was a at least a kilo too heavy at the start of dialysis so don't take offense if Carolyn chids me about watching what I eat and drink!! That is one of her duties as a loving wife!

Coyote,

I just heard from Steven and he cannot make the ryde unless we delay our leave time from Starbucks until 2:30 pm. It would be great to have another :spyder: to accompany us on the ryde; but I do understand your needs due to dialysis. Just lets us know if it is possible if not I will meet you at 1330 and we can plan something else for another weekend. If I am following everything You, Carolyn, Toni and her husband and myself are a go. If we can delay our leave time from Starbucks we can also have Steven ans his wife. Let me know what you think.

Two thirty would be fine with me>>>>>

Will see you at 2:30 at the Starbucks on Sunday. I will be there a little early can't wait to meet Carolyn and have a great :spyder:ryde with good friends.

Ryde to Atmore, AL

Just wanted to give you a final on the ryde on Sunday. Met Steven (Sabumin5) and Jan at the Starbucks at 9 Mile Rd and Pine Forest Rd. about 2:45PM. After talking for a little we departed on our ryde to the Wind Creek Casino in Atmore, AL. We took the back roads which is a 50 mile ryde to Alabama from our start point. It basically follow the course of the Perdido River and through some great farm country in Northwestern Escambia County. The weather was kind of dreary - overcast and thehumidity was up and it looked as if it would rain at any moment but encountered none.
had a nice dinner at the casino's buffet - half price for all; the company was excellent. Rode back by a more direct route arriving home about 8:30PM.
Wish more could have made it but it was short notice for the ryde for most. Will get another outing organized soon with more time for all to attend.

:2thumbs:
