There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I read through your travelogue in it's entirety today. Boy did that bring back a lot of memories. I was born and raised in the Philadelphia/Bucks County/central Jersey area before moving to Huntsville in 2004, so I remember many of the places you mentioned.
I drove the Pennsy turnpike hundreds of times back in the early 60's and do remember all of the tunnels they bypassed. Another thing that jumped out was the old Stegmaier Beer name... one of many fallen flag Pennsylvania beers.

I'll be in Gettysburg this weekend. Staying in Hanover with family. Will go Saturday to Gettysburg for the Remembrance Parade. Then Saturday evening we will go to the Remembrance Ceremony at the cemetary. They fill the cemetary with candles, read out the names of the dead and at intervals play taps. Will be a moving experience.
