• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger speakers

Just purchased a 2012 RT Audio and Convenience. I thought there were passenger speakers, but no sound. How can I find out?

2012 A & C

My X - GF had that model and it had rear speakers.......Check your preferences screen and see if they are turned up loud enough so you can hear then........Although the sound won't impress you, the BRP - RSI 4" speakers break up sooner than the fronts .......IMHO........that's why I changed to the JBL - 2 OHM models................and they will ROCK YOU.........................Mike :2excited:

We got a new to us 2012 RT A&C last fall, you can barely hear the rear speakers, I've tried changing the fader and balance and it makes very little difference. Must just be one of those things, I couldn't hear it anyways unless I was stopped so it's not an issue for me.

Passenger speakers don't work.

Still no sound. How do I get inside the rear speaker housing?

Still no sound. How do I get inside the rear speaker housing?
been there done that ( a few times :roflblack: )........The entire side housing must come off, and to do that a lot of the rear has to be re-moved first.................WHY do you want to do this ....maybe I can help before you do it .......Mike

Just want to get sound out of the rear speakers. Suggestions?!

The AC model did not come with rear speakers. That is an add on.

If you want to put them in yourself you will need the speakers AND the wiring. There is a kit from BRP.

I did a video when I upgraded my Speakers and show you how to get at them in the front and rear.

Thanks for the video!
(I just ordered speakers for my RT, and now I have a better idea of what I'm up against!

Rear speakers RT S 2015

Ok I must be missing something because I am unable to get any sound out of the rear speakers. Does anyone have a suggestion?

:welcome:
Yup!
Start the bike, but leave it in neutral, with the parking brake on...
Hit the "mode" button, until you see the personal preferences screen.
Scroll down (down button), until you see "audio"
Hit the "right" button
Scroll down to the "fader", then hit "right" again.
This should allow you to adjust the front to rear balance.
