Passenger heated grips

Hey everyone,

My father just bought a new-non current 2013 RT. He was wondering if he can add passenger heated grips to his bike. I don't see any BRP accessory kits, and so far all the heated grip kits I have found have been "universal" Has anyone attempted to add them, and if so, what kit did you use? thanks in advance!

Try asking for part number 219400151, if your Dad's bike needs the heated grips... :thumbup:
(I found this number in the 2014 accessories catalog)

No, its neither of those, just a base RT. It has the radio controls on the switch at the back, so I assume I am going to have to mount a separate switch for it. I will look into that accessory part number, thanks Bob.

I had the Heated Rear Passenger grips added to my Base 2015 Spyder RT SE6 by my dealer during the 3,000 mile service

The base model should have the electrical connectors already fitted for the passenger heated grips as part of the loom

You will need to purchase the Switch/Controller which fits where the blank cover is on the LHS grip
You will need to get the part no for it

I already had one so I got the dealer to order the other items needed to complete the install see e mail below :-

I want to upgrade the Rear Passenger Grips to the heated grips as per the ones on the RT Limited model

I already have the High/Low Heat switch fitted and I understand the connections are already there, Therefore could you supply and
Fit the Rear Heated Passenger Grips
