• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No Passenger Grip Heater Switch on '22 RT S2S - was the shortage on the grips, or just the switch? What do I need to make the heaters work?

New member here, just got a ‘22 RT S2S, 2nd owner. The rear grip heater switch is a blank, and supposed to be standard with the S2S. Reading some older threads, Can-Am was having supply issues during this time. Apparently the first owner never went back and got the parts once they became available.

Does anyone know if the parts shortage was on the grips themselves, or just the switch? I’m just wondering if I can get the switch and plug it in, or if I would need to get the whole grip assembly.

Thanks for the input!

I have seen these models both ways you mentioned. Some were only missing the switch and some didn't have the heated handles installed. If you remove the passenger seat, you should be able to see if there are wires coming from the handles, in which case you only need the switch...

Good idea, thank you!
