• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger Floorboard Risers

My wife is only 5 1" and when we ride 3 or 4 hundred miles she complains that her legs hurt because she can't rest them firmly on the floorboards. Even with the boards adjusted all the way up she can barely touch them. I've been looking for a riser so I could raise them another 1" or 2" without any luck. If anyone knows where I can find some or give me an alternative idea I would greatly appreciate it.

PM a request to Tom "GunkandPudge" they had the exact same problem and he found some pretty nice risers that his wife Lynn is very happy with.:thumbup::thumbup:

There's a company that makes these...
And since my computer died; I lost all of the links!!!:gaah:
Try something like "Spyder comfort"; that might get you close enough to find them...

Thank's Bob, I have a set on the way! My wife will be happy, so that make's me very happy. You know the old saying "If Momma ain't Happy ain't Nobody Happy"

 I know that saying ALL too well...
She's threatened to carve it into my forehead with a steak knife, on more than a few instances. :yikes:

Just bring the beer; we'll have to sterilize the site for this endeavor... :D
Besides; some of my most entertaining moments, have come from wondering how long the blood is going to run!

raising this thread from the dead.......having same problems with short wife...lol.....the link for spyder specialties is no good any more. Anybody have any solutions?

floorboardside.jpgfloorboardtop.jpgcame up with these......my neighbor is a woodworker and made them out of 2x6 lumber. Then routed them out like the original floorboard so I could reinstall the rubber pad.

We have that on our list to make a set for the RT. Ours will have more travel both directions and be in 1" increments. Don't think we are stepping on anyones' toes. (literally):thumbup::thumbup:
