• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger floorboard modification?

My wife is short - about 62 inches. Furthermore, she has short legs. The reason I mention this is the passenger floorboards on the 2014 RT-S are a little low for her even adjusted to the highest position. We experimented with some 2 X 6 wooden blocks and decided that an additional 1 or 1.5 inches would be just right. Does anyone know of a commercial solution to this problem? If not, does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might provide the additional height? I don't want to lose the foot traction of the existing rubber floorboard surface. I don't have a way to machine aluminum but I can easily mill various plastic materials on my CNC router. I can also do semi precision drilling on my drill press. Thanks.

My wife was having the same problem and Bob turned me on to Spyder Specialties as well. I ordered a set and my wife is very happy with the risers. Lots of adjustment so your wife should find a comfortable setting. David is a super guy and you can't beat his customer service.

Good :Luck! :2thumbs:
Now... My Missus is only 61" short; with even shorter legs! :roflblack:
But she likes the Passenger 'Boards" a bit on the "Long" side, so that she can stretch out a bit when the rides go into overtime... :D

Default Passenger floorboard modification?

I've put the Spyder Gliders, from Spyder Specialities, on my 2010 RT. My wife is only 4'8". They work perfectly for her and the Spyder. I had Spyderpops cut off excess that is not used, counter sink screws so the original top is still used. This made it easier for Harvy when he needed to remove the side panels to the Spyder.
