• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger Detection Switch

The passenger detection switch senses the addition of a passanger. The "nanny" then has additional information when it comes to computerized stopping. It takes into account the extra passenger weight and dynamics.

You are going to hear the ejection switch comment also. :roflblack:

I think you are thinking of the "Unwanted" Passenger Detection switch, otherwise known as the "Nag me one more time about my riding and you'll see what happens" switch.

I think I am thinking exactly what you are thinking, you think?

That too.

The passenger detection switch is to make the nanny think you have a 140 pound passenger on the rear seat when you have a 30 pound bag tied down there.

If you are carrying a 30lb bag you can disable to switch by removing the round hockey pluck. This will not tell the system you have a bag on the back.

Thanks, I will do that next time I have the seat off. It has not been a real problem, but it probably should be disabled, because I keep a tail bag on that seat all the time.

If you disconnect the switch you will get an error message on your screen. What I did was install an oil cap from a gallon Mobil 1 container under the switch cover. This pervents the switch from being activated with no error message.
