There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you can wait I would wait to see if you can get a used OEM BRP backrest.Check on SL/Ebay.I think its a good unit (had it on my RS) if you get a used one at a good price.Even if its a different color you can always paint/plasti dip it to match your Spyder.

Just to give you an idea go to the General Forum and look at " Blue Knight 911 Custom Video ".....The Hard case and Bracket cost me about $ 60.00 to do and I later put 3 LED strips in the back of the case as a third Brake light ........................Mike :thumbup:............................................Also Road Krohme actually makes a nice bracket that is easy to put on the pre 13 series frames that you can use aa a passenger backrest without the Case :2thumbs:
