• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Everyone, I have a 2014 rs, I have Corbin saddlebags and the Ultimate seat installed. I don't want to spend 600+ Can Am passenger backrest. I checked with Spyderpops would not fit due to seat width and I looked at Motovans and I do not like the looks. Has anyone modified one, previous model year maybe??

I have the 09 in my case I wanted more storage for long trips. I have two of the flat luggage racks and the adjustable backrest. I had a after market HD tourpac so I mad a platform that bolts to the tourpac and through the flat luggage rack it had to go from a 1/2" in the back to a 1 ¼" in the front. The wife loves the comfort of the tourpac so that's what's on most of the time. But with a pull of the handle under the seat all can be removed or changed in a second. Just think outside the box.

Curious. ....

Did you look into the smoothspyder back rest...?? He is a sponsor and if it does not work he may be able to figure something out for you....

I purchased one on ebay for $216 from Sirius Consolidated out of Canada. It doesn't look as nice as the BRP's, but it does the job, and it is considerably cheaper. You can purchase a luggage rack with it also. I had no issues with the seller. Maybe with the ultimate seat this one will not work either.
