Passenger Backrest Combo Question

I have been looking into the can am passenger backrest, but after seeing that you must purchase the OVERPRICED sport rack, I would be over 500 buck for just a passenger backrest combo.

Anyone else experimented with other options or know where to get this parts at a resonable price? Im looking for a silver/black backrest and rack combo, or something that looks good on my silver spyder.

I have been checking ebay, but nothing worthy price wise on there.

Not sure on the look you are hoping for... But I purchased the KewlMetal kit here and one of these from Fleebay... They have a lot of padding options available as well...

And as far as cheap goes in kit(s) that is about as cheap as I found. I am sure there has to be cheaper kits... But I do not want my bike falling apart at the time it needs to hold together the most.. :thumbup:hyea:

Do a search on roadkrome. They are less expensive and the few members here that have purchased seemed to be happy with it.

How easy was the install? I am interested in buying one, would rather not spend $500 + for the BRP backrest.
