• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger Armrests

I apologize if I sound like a broken record (or my wife sometimes), but please take some pics and post? Also if you would take both overview shots and close ups. I know I know. I'm not asking for too much huh?

Thanks.

Now I'm confused. I didn't think that ISCI was going to make them for the RT-S. Are we talking oranges and oranges or oranges and apples?

Post #13, Billy said he would not be making RT armrests, but would continue to make the RS armrest. I think our next milestone here is HDMod, when he installs his Diamond R next week. After that, the Corbin entry.

Yes, I heard that ISCI say that they gave up on making the armrests for the RT. Corbin might be your best bet, don't know about the others. :dontknow:

Put them on today. Taking off panels on back was more of pain than anything. Basically used 2 of the 3 mounting holes provided and used longer screws. Now these are not made to crawl on and off the bike with. I used silicone adhesive and screwed them into rear of the passenger handles. They are very firmly attached in my opinion. My wife leaned on them pretty hard and they seem solid. Pics as soon as I get home on laptop.

Cool!:chat: Looking forward to.:ani29:

Wife rates the armrests as a "10"!!!!!! :2thumbs: I will send pics to Diamond R on Monday and maybe they can make a clamping type mount bracket to go around the rear of the grab handle. Stay tuned!!!!!!!

Hdmod,
If you can get them to make some I would buy a set. Let us know. I am sure there are alot of members that would want a set.

Just had Corbin seat, driver & passenger backrests and armrests installed. Still on road heading home. Will post pics tomorrow.

My wife loves the armrests. They are working on an optional upholder that will be mated with the right side armrest. Ours has the screws in place to accept it when they finish the design.
