• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger armrest options

Hi all, newbie here. My wife and I just bought a new-to-us RTS. We live in norther Ill. and am looking for fellow Spyder ryders.
Anyway, are there any other options for passenger armrests other than Corbin? I notice the arms on theirs come out at about a 45 degree angle. I'd prefer something a little more straight to keep the passenger more secure.

Russ I can assure you that the Corbin armrests will provide the security that you and your wife will want. The armrests are at an angle, but not nearly as pronounced as it may look.

I just purchased the Corbin seat, backrest, passenger backrest and armrests. The armrests keep my wife "snug as a bug". I know I'm showing my age on that one.

Chris, Thanks for the advice. I think we'll go ahead and get the Corbins. I already have the seat, so it would be a nice match. Wow... PE#4... that's cool. We have #277. Lol... I use that phrase myself, so I guess that puts me right there with ya in age.

Jeff, We live in Gurnee. Do you know of any upcoming spyder gatherings around here? We're looking forward to meeting some spyder ryders.

No nothing right now but would be interested in attending anything that comes up. There just was the 2010 Spyder event that BRP put on at the Lehman mansion, 225+/- Spyders. :spyder2::spyder2::spyder2:

welcome
I would love to get together, I just don't get that close to Chicago.

I am planning a two day trip to Galena, IL for the day, over to Iowa and up to Turkey River then back across Wisconsin. This is only about 260 miles but should be a good ride. If anyone is interested in joining that would be great.
