• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger armrest for 2011 RT

Utopia passenger loading and unloading.

Have Utopia driver backrest, do you foresee any problem with the wifey getting into passenger seat. She's 5'2 and not to swollen haha

The Utopia backrest folds down nicely to allow passenger loading and driver ease of throwing leg over seat.

We love our Spyder

What do the arm rests look like? I looked at the Corbin seats. I took my seat and had it redone with better qaulity foam and better leather and my wife and I enjoy the much better comfort. Cost $160.00 We have a 2009 Roadster RT. After my back surgery sold my Victory thought that ended my bike riding. Then seen a Spyder tracked it down to my local Victory dealer. Took one for a demo ride and purchase ours new and w love it. Several crouch rockets are surpised how I keep up menuver and it's power. My friends get a kick when we are riding in the North Ga. mountains and the rocket boys deciide to pass and then all of a sudden they see me and my Spyder on their butts. Raced a 600 Suszuki and beat him. I have done a 400 foot burnout. Could have gone morre but ran out of parking lot. I am looking at the aftermarket turbo now i, just can't justify the price. My wife is now practicing with it to get her "M" License. Maybe we will have two in the future?

armrest is good for us

Has anyone installed a passenger armrest for RT ltd. If so where did you purchase it

Here is an overhead view of the Corbin armrest. My wife is 5'2" and she loves them. We took a cross country trip last year and the armrest made her much more relaxed and secure. the original rest had her elbows back too far and was uncomfortable. They can be a challenge to install but if you are handy with hand tools and have a couple of hours you can do it. We are very satisfied with them.

Armests came today with the emblem blacked out and looks great! However, they added the spyder web design to the arms and so they have to go back :yikes:.
Corbin was very  and will take care of the issue (mistakes happen). They were both professional and pleasant to deal with.

Sorry. They told me they do not embroider the spyder on the armrest anymore. However, they do embroider the Corbin emblem/logo on it. I had them use only black thread on the Corbin emblem/logo and it looks great. Sorry no pics this time, already boxed and waiting for pickup. I will take a pic when the new one arrives.

Mine came with only the corbin logo and not the spyder emblem. The corbin name is in white or maybe silver thread, Black thread huh? I see a sharpie coming
into view.;)
My wife does love the armrest. Some questions are made as to the armrest not swinging out of the way to mount the bike. This has never been an issue with these, They are just not in the way at all. Maybe it is just the way we get on and off the bike or something. As far as not being able to use the origonal hand grips, Really no need to hold on to them as the arm rest are now there. I did do as many do when installing them using better screws and fender washers to make them sturdier. they are good and solid.

These sure would look good on an RT. Why can't someone design a clamp system for the the passenger grab handle and make these work? Click here FMI.

The passenger grab handles are made of plastic. Not strong enough to safely attach an accessory. They have been broken merely by using them to tie down a Spyder in a trailer.

Thanks

stevedfive: Thanks for the top view. Been looking for that so I could see the angle they had.
I have also been wondering about the ability to still use the bike's handles. I have seen the question but not an answer about there use.
