There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They do not bolt to the frame. They fit around the stock hand grip and are held on by abolt like a clamp. I am not going to make them for production I just wanted to show them to give another idea that brp or anyone else coud do' the fabrication was very simple and i hope other people can benifit from my idea

I built them for my wife she likes them very much. I have no means of mass production and i spend what little spare time i have riding my spyder. If you know someone who can fabricate feel free to use my idea

I like the way those work and look...at least from the pics. If it were me and came up with that idea and got the responses you did....man I'd go for it. Maybe you could check with some of the sponsors on here and get assistance. You have a possible goldmine and don't know it ....my opinion. If you check what others are asking for theirs you could surely sell for less ans sell them and yours look like they pivot too ?

Diamond R Accessories
This design reminds me somewhat of the Passenger Armrests that Diamond R Accessories makes for the Yamaha RS Venture. That unit had a bracket that bolted to the underside of the passenger hand grips and the passenger arms pivoted out of the way. I suspect that it would not be difficult to fabricate a bracket that would fit the RT handrails, but you might short circuit the heat elements in doing so.
Just thought I would throw this out there for those who might be interested enough to contact the supplier to see if they would be interested in producing the bracket to go with their armrests. By the way, these units cost $250.00 + shipping. Pretty well in line with passenger armrests for Honda's and Harleys.

There is a fellow in Port Charlotte Fl with a red RT that has installed a set of 1800 Goldwing arm rest and they look like they were made for an RT. He had to trim off the mounting brackets to make them fit. Looked easy to me. When we both can get together for a ride or breakfast I will take picture's and get more info. Next time you see a wing with arm rest take a look and you might see just how and what needs to be done to make it work.
