• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PASSENGER ARM REST HELP

I am going to buy a set of passenger arm rests for my RT "Scoot3r". I am tending toward either the RIVCO or Diamond R sets. Anyone with experience with either manufactor? Any other recommendations are also welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for any info

I can't comment on the RIVCO's but we are extremely happy with the Diamond R armrests! Super easy install, they function well and look great.

I second the above comment, my wife loves the Diamond R and their client service is second to none!:thumbup:

If you are at any Spyder events, see if some riders have both and check them out! I am sure they both are high quality !

My vote goes to Diamond R. I have several Diamond R products and they're all great! Allen and Patti are top notch too!!

Thanks to all of you -Sounds like Diamond R is the best recommendation. I like the idea of vertical adjustment, and they look good. Jim

Looks like..!!

from this impromptu survey the Diamond R's are the way to go. Have to agree with "netminder" on trying to find those that have them and see for yourself. If this is not possible go with the flow..folks here are the best at this...

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Allen at Diamond R.
All his products are top quality and his customer service is second to none!

I have the diamond R arm rests and am happy with two installation caveats: 1) After you install them give the nuts on top of the arm rest an additional 1/2 rotation tighten. Otherwise the arm rests seem a little too loose, and 2) If you park in the sun and the passenger does not wear long sleeves the arm rests can get hot. I invested in getting some cloth covers made to handle this. Just cloth on the top and sides and elastic underneath. A tailor made them for me at a cost of $20.
