• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger and Wind

A friend added a deflector to the top of his windshield . . . I tried looking through his facebook page for the brand and model but couldn't find it . . . There are several made.

Hi guys and girls....just wanted to throw my two cents in, the F4 Plus 3 is 3" taller and 5" wider (rather than 3"). We have Stock and Sport (-3") Wide also. bodymanpainter, glad it is working well for you! Thanks for the flowers, we love to get feedback from customers.
Looks good.

I don't suppose there are any active Coupon Codes ?

Mounting Bracket

Let me throw this out there also. With the issues they seem to be having linkage breakage (from other threads) would this larger windshield put more strain on those brackets/links that hold the windshield? If they were to break would the warranty still cover it?

Thanks

STRESS/STRAIN

What is harder to do......wave your hand through the air ....or do it holding a garbage can cover ??????...............Yes the larger the windshield surface , the more resistance, the more stress, ......However the slight increase in size is not the problem here......It's the material the arm is made from. BRP has known about this issue for a few years now and chosen to do NOTHING about it , other than to replace some under warranty ........and probably make a TON of money selling complete units to those people whose ARMS break after warranty..................Because if BRP can get there hands on your good platform and motor ......you bet your *ss they will just put a new ARM ( the one they won't sell you separately ) on your platform and sell that as a complete unit ....................just sayin,.Mike

Randy,
I'd keep the old windshield around, for JUST this sort of thing...
If BRP doesn't see it on your bike; it doesn't exist! :D
