• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parts on order

Only have 250 miles on my RT and it has been in the shop three times. Now it needs the rear shock replaced and its on order. Any idea on how long that will take? Dealer prays it will arrive in a week. Another lost week of riding. Geez

This is strange.... That shock (assembly) I thought was a part of a dealer recall. Meaning they should have fixed it before delivery. This is a well known issue, and I very well may be incorrect. BRP may make us wait till we report it.

Just as an FYI.. This (Link bottom of page ) or this (Link) would be a good place to go as a way to keep your self up to date and keep your dealer honest :2thumbs:

Oh and!!!! welcome

I did take it in for the recall and they said it was fine. Got it home and it still would not hold air. Took it back a week later and they said it needed to be replaced, per the recall. WHAT THE?

Well, another week has gone by and I am told the rear shock is on back order and don't have a date when it will arrive. I getting to think buying this was a big mistake.

Took mine for 300mi service.. they said mine was bad and ordered another one! It arrived in 6 days.. still ryding the bike.. taking it in next week to get repaired.

rear shock

They confiscated mine too and held it for three weeks before BRP sent the parts. Replaced bag and shock and they still leaked. They ordered rear air tube and fitting and had it another week. Finally said the problem was that the tube wasn't cut at an exactly 90 degree angle so it was leaking at the fitting. So it looks like, for me anyway, the tube leaked at the fitting because it wasn't cut correctly which caused the air bag to lose air which destoyed the shock because it could no longer handle the load. It's been two weeks and the air is holding, for now anyway. I have the cheap model so I don't have a compressor.
