• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i have very little parking brake, if any at all. Probably cable needs to be adjusted. Does anybody know if the parking brake is part of the braking system or is it a separate system, maby on the engine.

Let me try to expain this in a easy way... If you look near at the rear caliper you will see two NUTS that are on a BRACKET... You need to adjust the cable so that it pull the cable toward the front of the spyder,, this is easy to see if you have a second person press on the parking brake while you watch the motion of the cable,, this is just a simple cable adjustment on the rear brake caliper.. Let us know if we need to explain this any other way.. Wish I had a pic but I'm sure some one will charm in with one.

Let me charm into this threat.

Here is a scan of the Shop Manual - on adjusting the parking brake cable.

This is located on the right side of the rear wheel.

Everybody else has described what you need to do, hope the picture helps.

I have adjusted mine a couple of times and as Scotty says, you do not have to jack up the Spyder to do this.
