• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parking brake removal

Well here's my take on the removal of the p-brake. ...

All gone, nothing but a box of parts now and no more interference problems with the exhaust. :ohyea:

Removing of the pedal and parking brake switch didn't cause your Spyder to throw any fault codes or show the parking brake actuated on your dash? I will take off my pedal and associated hardware if thats the case.

I also removed my complete parking brake assembly and was wondering if the microswitch would throw a code or light up the parking brake indicator, nothing happened, works fine. I left the cable and tied it up out the way.

Thanks guys. That pedal is probably coming off today after I get back from church.

I'll do mine next weekend-- but I'll do something more like BJT--- I don't want to ruin the factory parts in case I ever want to add it back on (trade in, sale, etc...)
