• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parking Brake Question

If the parking brake fails to release, is there a manual way to release it? I have no problem, just got to thinking about it.

According to the manual, you can remove the Tupperware & release the actuator, and listen to the warning screech.....

Thanks, I missed that in the book. Bob, if your battery is low, you can not release the brake either....sleep well, my friend....

Looks like I have to re-read the dang book again. My :spyder2: is a RT S SE 5, traded my 07 GL 1800 for it.:doorag:

Just make sure you are parked in a place where you want to be. Then you wont have to worry about the brake releasing or not.

had that happen last year was stuck at the gas pump thinking how are they going to get this on a trailer with the parking brake on.

dead screen bike would not start at all...

ended up lose ground cable next to fuse box under seat ... got it started finally after 20 mins of worrying ...
