• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parking brake indicator light

I'm traveling and stopped for the evening in Moncton NB. When I got ready to move the Spyder after checking in the parking brake indicator light stayed on but the parking brake released. The brake seems to work okay but the light won't go off until I shut the Spyder off and beeps until the display shuts down. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem and could offer any suggestions. It is a 2015 RT L. The Garmin says there is a dealer here. I'm 2000 miles from my dealer.

If the parking brake is releasing and there's no indication that the brake is partially applied, it is probably just a stuck switch keeping the light on. Won't hurt to get it looked at but it seems that most dealers like to have Mondays off.

My wife and I just bought our Spyder last month and are enjoying it at every opportunity. We live in the booming metropolis of Astoria. Sorry I couldn't be of much help but I do hope that you have a great trip!!! Be careful and have fun!

Fixed

:agree: It just sounds as if the switch needs a minor amount of attention...
The dealer was only 6 miles from our hotel. Their service department got me right in and cleaned and lubricated the switch. I was back on the road in 45 minutes all under warranty. 5 star dealer in Moncton NB in my opinion. Thanks for the replies all.

Are you talking about the switch on the dash? Or some internal switch? I'm having the same issue.

I've posted up a bit of an answering screed in the thread you started on this FINFAN3DP, it's probably the micro-switch under the RHS tupperwaare in front of your foot, a tiny little switch activated by the Park Brake Activation Pulley wheel. Needs a clean. Check out your thread for more detail.
