Question....If you do not engage your parking brake and you take the key out , do you get an audible beep ? I don't know if the manual says you're supposed to or not , my bike is in the shop so I can't check it out. Mine has never beeped and I never use the brake when in the garage. I was walking thru a parking lot and noticed a guy sitting on his spyder and it had an audible beeping noise. I walked over and started talking to him and asked him what the noise was . He informed me that it happened every time he took the key out without setting the brake and sometimes it wouldn't shut off without trying the key several times .Audible was very loud . His was a 2012 limited. I've been on several rides with spyder groups and never heard the beep but then maybe they always set their brake ?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If and when I forget to set the parking brake on my 2011 RT LTD (SE), I get the beep, but I don't worry about it much when it is in the garage, it will turn off after about 20 secs.
