Parking Brake Alternative

Well I've tired of the parking brake woes. If I push down enough to actually lock the brakes so the bike doesn't roll then it's often too hard to disengage and I'm not fond of riding my spyder with the brakes enagaged ;D so...what I do now is leave the bike in 1st gear when I shut her off and don't bother with the parking brake at all. It won't budge if it's in gear.

Yeah...you'd think designing a working parking brake would be a simple project. Anyone wanna buy a slightly used parking brake? ;D lol.

This guy has found what he believes to be the fix for the parking brake:

He's asked anyone who tries his fix to report the results to determine if this indeed fixes the problem.

First gear, no parking break. I figure 2 wheel bikes don't have breaks and it works so why not the Spyder.
